Christmas

So I do not know how all you people handled Christmas day, as for me though I handled it with a big whoop a mighty laugh, and some photography. Well Christmas was Christmas as usual, looking in the stocking opening presents, eating nothing but candy all day, and playing video games with the new Nintendo Wii system. ( you know the one that these little Japanese people come to some peoples house in a little car and they play tennis? Yea it is that commercial) Well for those of you who have been to my house there is a gate a big six foot tall fence in the front of the property so no one comes in. Well of course the gate was open it being the middle of the day and I hear a loud crashing noise like ice coming down off the roof of the house. Well I thought nothing of it, it being a mild day. Well then we get a knock and this lady said she ran into our fence. And that she couldn't get her car unstuck, well that is what she gets for trying to flee the scene of an accident, because the only reason she knew her car was stuck was she was trying to get away. Well we didn't call the police because she had a warrant out for her arrest and it being Christmas and us being nice, I did the investigation, we got the information, and finally got her car unstuck. Well onside of the fence with the gate is ten feet gone now, and a piece from the fence hit my mom's car. (ooooohhhh you don't mess with Ma's car) She said she lost control, but there was no ice on the road except way down on the corner and it was a direct beeline for the fence no stopping, swerving nothing strange huh? Well I will post pics later, and we had fun at the Grandparents as well, took the four-wheelers out with the sleds attached it was a lot of fun, my uncle George, would get me to flip on the sled and I would just hold on body surfing till I flipped over tons of fun. Well a late Merry Christmas to you all. And have a happy new year.

Insane! I mean INSANE!

Well I haven't written in quite a while now it has been about a week if I am not mistaken. It is now only three days away from Christmas Eve, and Loa, Keli, and I remain here at the lodge. We are leaving either Saturday or early Sunday morning. Here are some pics of to the last little while. At top is of Meagan, Loa, and I making turnovers at about eleven at night. (I must say Meagan is much more fun to work with than the other girls coming back, Meagan isn't coming back after Christmas she's going to be a lifeguard at DisneyWorld. The other girls are just need, need, need, uggghhh, I don't like it. So the girl Holly who is coming better be awesome becasue we'll need it.) So Loa and I and Keli drove out to the North Rim to read a pressure meter at a building there, because a construction company needed it done and weren't going to get out there soon enough. So we drove out there and the road isn't plowed the whole way at all only partly right now because of logging. We are driving through about a foot of snow at most because someone from the NorthRim plowed their way out. Once we got to the gate though there was three feet of snow and there was no way we were going to make it. On the way back though we made it worth it, Loa pictured here rode the complete 30 miles on that sled, the temperature: 5 below zero, speed: 40mph. I got off early because I didn't have a cushy tube like Loa and my hands couldn't move so i only did about ten miles. Also here is a pic of the sunrise, this was just outside my bedroom it was absolutely gorgeous! Then you can see how slow it is here in this picture, I mean we burned the Gingerbread house! Oh and one other thing, the hill for sledding out back has enough snow on it. Jayne Rich, and I went sledding down it the other day, man you all have to come out, there is a light too that shines right on the hill at night! That's all! And hopefully I will see some of you when I get home I am home from the 24th till Jan 8th.

Here Comes Santa Clause!

So here they are the pictures of Santa Clause! The first one is with Melanie, and Santa's helper None, pronounced No'ne. Now Santa Clause also had a hard time with some of the children, kicking, crying, and wanting to tear his eyes out! Now why would anyone want to take out Santa? I mean he is the nicest guy in the world, gives presents, and joy, and good will to all. So have you ever wondered with so much goodness in the man why kids hate him? Could it be because the Santa lap they sit on isn't the real Santa? Shhhhhh!

OH MY GOSH HE'S DEAD!

Wow so sledding here is the most awesome thing! So we went out last night and did some serious sledding, the truck was pulling us and we don't use tubes anymore because they stink! Now we use just the saucers and as you can tell they make for a lot more fun, Loa here has fallen off and I have ran into him and he is being dragged by the truck. I at one time had to bail off because my sled doesn't have handles anymore so my sled is connected to the rope instead of being looped through. And I slid and my feet touched the bottom of a tree, AWESOME! Then at one time Meagan, not pictured, (she won't let me post one) almost hit a tree, about two inches away while we took a corner now that was a close one! Well now Heather who is pictured in the background left today. So did Alisa and Hillary, which makes now for Loa, Meagan, and I and Keli and Julie left to run the place it's going to be quite exciting having five people to run the place. Oh and the pictures of Santa, I got called a baby for not posting them on my free will, so before I get called anymore names I will post one.

Oh my heart! The Stars!

Wow what a night! I went out to Jacob Lake tonight with Meagan to take some pics but I didn't realize how AMAZING it was going to be. Here is one of the pics I got looking east over Jacob lake. Oh and I almost forgot sledding was awesome the sled didn't perform quite up to par so Loa and I got on the Saucers. We took the rope and pulled it through the handle so we could let go when we were going to die! Well I almost hit a tree one time before I let go and ended up about three feet from it, Loa hit a light pole, and we had a ton of fun! It's amazing out here! Oh and Chandler and Melanie two great people left today to head home, never to return to Jacob Lake sad. I'll have to post a pic of them both now. P.S. Don't you just love the Santa hat on the deer, yea I was Santa at the Christmas party, and I won't post any pics besides by request. Mom, you are exempt you will see them anyway when I come home.

Wanna be golf course

Well today was my day off. Today I finally got my package from fedex, it's my tripod!!! So I needed to go to Judd Auto and pick it up because I decided to be nice to fedex since they did call this morning arousing me from my sleep at about 9am!lol. Well the guy had a lot to do so it was easier to drop it off there. So Meagan and I went into town (which is Kanab) and we went and got lunch while our film was developing and there was a place that looked like a park/wanna be golf course. So I see a road that goes up to a bench in a nice place to sit and eat. And as I start to go up the hill I notice that the road i am on is for golf carts! Hence the picture. It was good. That's all folks!
